Mr. Daniel Irungu is an Organizational Development (OD) consultant at Brent Wellis and Associates with working experience at senior level in both development and public sectors. He held several positions including Chief Officer at the Department of Health in Nyandarua County, County Secretary and Head of County Public Service in the same County, Regional Programme Manager at the College of Ophthalmology of East, Central and Southern Africa (COECSA), expatriate Programme Officer at the International Republican Institute in charge of institutional development in Kenya and Somaliland. He has been a hands-on practitioner and consultant in health systems management, strategic planning and management, programme management, project cycle management, performance management, change management, results-based management, public policy research, among others. He has consulted for several organizations that include Churches United Against HIV/Aids (CUAHA), Heinrich Boll Foundation (HBF) / European Commission (EU), Action aid International Kenya (AAIK), Kindernothilfe e.V / International Aid Services, among others.
He studied for an MSc in Health Systems Management, an MBA in Strategic Management from University of Nairobi, and a candidate for a PhD in Health System Management at Kenyatta University.
